PROCESS

STEP ONE

MAKE SURE I'M THE RIGHT FIT FOR YOU

Check out my portfolio, see what covers I make. This will ensure I make the perfect cover you're wanting and can offer you it to the best of my ability.

Keep in mind that I book out quite a bit. Booking ahead of time helps me create the cover when you're needing it.

STEP TWO

DO YOU HAVE A VISION?

Do you know what you want? Have an idea in mind when our time for consult comes. It makes the whole process smoother and more exciting. Most genres have an all-around appearance to them. I frequently research the market for the bestselling covers in their genre and while I love to have your vision, keeping similar to the genre's already established design helps you market your book easiest.

I have a full questionnaire that will be sent upon booking. Doing phone call/email consultation with my project manager after it has been completed is a must. It helps me get a feel for your story, work out any kinks you're feeling, and also narrows down audience/genre/vibe.

STEP THREE

CONTACT

When emailing, my project manager will be managing all intake of emails and point-of-contact and will direct any questions to me so I can spend more time designing. She's amazing and can answer any questions you may have.

It can take time for a response, especially if our traffic is high, but we are trying to keep up with all emails received.

LET US KNOW YOUR TIME FRAME

Please let us know what your time frame looks like, if you have a specific deadline, and if it's within my own bookings.

HOW SCHEDULING WORKS

We are generally booked out a few months, which means getting in early and on time is best for us all.

We do take on new clients and we are right now booking for July onwards.

When you email for a booking, you're required to pay a 50% non-refundable retainer to hold your spot. We will schedule a conversation a week prior to your booking, whether it is by email, on the phone, or by messaging on a social app.

We will discuss your cover wants and needs, what you like in a cover, what the market requires, and stylizations you prefer.

We will give a first mock, it's a rough draft and not polished, you can send me your yays, nays, or if it all-around doesn't fit what you're wanting, then we can move forward from there.

Usually, we try to attempt a second mock the same day, but if you're unsure, we have to take a step back and have another conversation about the concept and what fits. Usually, the first time is on par with what you want, but on occasion, that isn't the case.

If you don't have a cover in mind after the first mock, we will go for what fits the genre best. If you're unhappy in the end, you can part ways on positive terms. If you want more than two original mocks, we charge $100 per additional mock-up.

Please keep all of these details in mind when booking.
